The Open Institute is a Cambodian non-governmental and not-for-profit organization. Part of our mission is to ensure that Cambodia has access to the benefits of technology for social and economic advance.
We work to help the economic development of Cambodia by providing computer tools in Khmer language that can be used by everybody. These tools are already widely used in schools, NGOs, companies and in a good part of government offices.

In 2008, the Open Schools Program had trained and re-trained the following teachers and staff of MoEYS on the use of Khmer language application and computer maintenance:
